WEEK 8
Well gang, here we are in week 8 of 12! The Winter Olympics in Sochi is over and we are winding down our Winter Trimester as well! Let's finish strong!

THE JOURNEY CONFERENCE 
This week, from TUE-THU, 8 pastors and church staff will be traveling from Texas, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky to meet with us to learn how to launch the Journey in their own churches. Please pray for the Advisory Team as we do our best to share the good things that God has done at CLC through the Journey in the lives of so many amazing people. Heads up on WED and THUR nights, you may see a small group of people touring your area to observe your ministry.

Hospitality will be provided by Jennifer Forgy.

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED 
A few weeks ago I shared a web site with you that Richard Detwiler showed me that has a live web cam on an eagle's nest in Georgia where the female eagle had laid 2 eggs. Well, a least one eaglet has hatched.

4 DC GROUPS GRADUATING FROM THE JOURNEY
At our Celebration Service scheduled for March 26, 4 discipleship coaching groups will be graduating! They include:

• Todd Hooper's group
• Ben Pritchett's group
• Kacey Randolph's (Rebekah Streich & Mackenzie Pritchett interns) group
• Amy Ford's (Betsy Willis, intern) group

We have the graduates award t-shirts ready plus a letter is being prepared from the Advisory Team to honor them. Coaches instruct your grads to arrive no later than 6:15pm to get their t-shirt from you to put on prior to the service. Also, be thinking about who in your group can take the microphone and give a good testimony. Make plans to invite family & friends to the graduation!

GROW SERIES 1 APPLICATION 
Each Journey graduate is encouraged to enroll in GS1. If we have enough students to warrant it, we will host GS1 during the Summer Trimester, otherwise we will enroll all graduates into the Fall Trimester later this year. Graduates can apply for the GS1 course at this link here.

THE JOURNEY MINUTE 
We are armed and dangerous with smartphone video cameras and want 60-seconds of your time as a Journey student. Don't be surprised if a member of the Advisory Team whips out their camera and asks for your thoughts about your Journey experience. The Journey Minute videos will be posted on our Journey YouTube Channel and embedded into our blogs.

Please remember Pastor Ron & Kerri and Larry & Pam Wiley as they are ministering for 2 weeks in India. Next time you say grace over your meal, breathe a prayer for them.

VISITING TEAMS ARE COMING TO CLC
I am working at present with three churches who will be sending delegations to come to our church to study the Journey and interview our leaders in February & March. We are humbled that the Lord's hand is on the Journey Discipleship Experience and we are eager to share what we have learned with others to help as many as possible become fully devoted followers of Christ.

THE BURN - FRI FEB 7, 7p-7a
What is "The Burn" and why am I inviting you to check it out?

The Burn is a 12-hour, non-stop worship intercession experience hosted at the GAP House of Prayer in Murfreesboro and primarily led by Jason Ford and his team. Worship teams (including members of the Remedy and CLC worship teams) provide a holy backdrop for prayer, contemplation, Bible reading, journaling, and just sitting and soaking in the presence of the Lord for any amount of time that you desire. Drop in when you can and leave when you want.

Jason writes: "Hey folks!!! I'm so excited to come worship Jesus again this month. Come out to this worship night held at the GAP house of prayer here in Murfreesboro.
