This WED, MAR 26th, we will host our Celebration Service. We will celebrate 4 coaching groups graduating (praise God!). If you are graduating this WED, please be there by 6:15pm to receive your graduation packets at the Get Connected table. Please be prepared to put on your black Journey graduation t-shirt for the ceremony. Be prepared to share a thought if called upon by your coach and please do your best to be brief - no more than 1-2 minutes max!
We would like to ask everybody to bring a snack with you! The GS2 & GS2 classes are bringing the drinks.
MEN'S CONNECTION BREAKFAST
This Saturday, we will host our first-ever Men's Connection Breakfast. These connection breakfasts (and brunches, see below) are an attempt to replace our Ministry Fair in populating our Journey groups plus in connecting every man and every women at CLC to activities & events with the end goal of building relationships.
The Advisory Team men are sponsoring this event, with David Fullerton as the Coordinator. Chris Joiner's "33 Series" focus group has volunteered to work behind the scenes making phone calls to invite men and come in to set up & take down the room.
Every Journey man is invited and asked to bring a breakfast side dish. The event will be from 8-9:30am in the sanctuary.
If you would like to attend the Men's Connection Breakfast, please RSVP at this link here.
WOMEN'S CONNECTION BRUNCH
On Saturday, April 5th, the Advisory Team ladies are hosting a Women's Connection Brunch from 10-11:30am. This is going to be a wonderful opportunity for our ladies to connect with events like the Freedom Weekend and special activities for ladies which will be offered on a new concept we are calling "Connection Saturday."
If you would like to attend the Women's Connection Brunch, please RSVP at this link here.
CONNECTION SATURDAY
On Saturday, May 31st, the Advisory Team will work with our Journey leaders to sponsor some men's & women's activities to help connect men and women to the Journey & to CLC. Activities for men may include trap shooting, golf, Frisbee golf, kayaking, zip line, canoeing, high ropes courses, and having coffee at Jozarras (we will spread these kinds of activities out throughout the year but will offer 3 or 4 options each Connection Saturday).
Similarly, the women will come up with fun activities for the ladies. We will poll attendees to see where their interests are. We will do three Connections Saturdays each year which will be 90% fellowship and 10% connection testimonies & surveys. We will making more announcements about this as we go along. Exciting stuff!
